To be blunt: You’re never going to escape gravity as long as you live.
The bright side: This opens the door to real, simple solutions, such as those demonstrated by my parents below, at ages 69 and 72 .They're almost a decade into working at ATG Basics, always in moderation.

New trainees with lower back problems are searching for answers, but even if they find a solution today, gravity is still waiting for them 10 years from now.
This means some of the best long-term lower back solutions don’t make for good business!
Quick fixes and repeat purchases are much better businesses.
By comparison, basics for a lifetime = poor business model - and that’s great!
Lower back pain is up in the $100 billion-plus expense range per year for Americans alone.
Spine-saving basics have yet to be explained on mainstream TV and are unlikely to ever be.
The result of all this is: TIME IS THE #1 MISUNDERSTANDING I STILL SEE IN PEOPLE WITH LOWER BACK PROBLEMS.
Some of my articles go deep into specific exercise details, but in this case, the advice of simply having a regimen of strength and flexibility training to lengthen out and strengthen against human lower back demand is perhaps the most valuable thing I can tell you!
Conclusion:
Our lower backs would have less pressure if we walked on all fours.

We don’t.
Inherent demand pulls us down and forward, making the lower back a natural pressure point.
Facing this truth can make a better life than being in mystery and going with the flow of miserable lower back pain statistics.
You may even find you enjoy this stuff as part of your exercise regimen, so when in doubt: do less and ENJOY it. Build your routine in this “enjoy every workout” style rather than burning yourself out and giving up.
Yours in Solutions,
Ben
